This policy explains what information Bucketworks, Inc. (a Delaware corporation), which operates markets.futbol ("markets.futbol", "we", "us", "our"), collects when you join our prelaunch list, how we use it, and the choices you have. By submitting your phone number and ticking the consent box you agree to this policy and consent to receive the messages described below.

Who we are (data controller)

The data controller responsible for your personal information is Bucketworks, Inc., a Delaware corporation, registered at c/o Resident Agents Inc., 8 The Green, Ste R, Dover, DE 19901, USA. You can reach us about privacy at privacy@markets.futbol. We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer; please direct data-protection questions to privacy@markets.futbol. We have not appointed an EEA/UK representative; EEA/UK residents may contact us at the same address.

markets.futbol is a prediction-market platform. This policy covers our prelaunch capture pages only. In the United States and other restricted jurisdictions, access at launch is paper-trading only until and unless the relevant regulator (in the US, the CFTC) authorizes real-money trading.

1. Information we collect

Phone number — the number you submit to join the prelaunch list and to receive launch and bonus updates by SMS and/or WhatsApp.
Marketing attribution — the source/campaign that referred you (e.g. the social platform), and basic ad-click identifiers, so we can measure and improve our campaigns.
Approximate location — a coarse, IP-derived country/region used only to pre-select your country dialing code and to apply regional availability (e.g. paper-trading where required).
Device & usage data — standard analytics such as device type, browser, and pages viewed, collected via cookies/similar technologies.
Communications — your replies and opt-out requests (e.g. STOP), and your consent record.

We do not ask for your email, government ID, or payment details to join the prelaunch list. Those are only collected later, if and when you choose to onboard to the platform.

2. How we use your information

To add you to the prelaunch list and notify you when markets.futbol opens, including details of the $10 promotional credit.
To send you launch updates, reminders, and product news by SMS, WhatsApp, and (if later provided) email — only after your consent.
To measure marketing performance and attribute signups to campaigns.
To operate, secure, and improve our sites and to comply with legal obligations.

3. SMS / WhatsApp marketing messages & your consent (TCPA)

By submitting your number and ticking the consent box, you give your prior express written consent to receive recurring automated marketing and promotional text messages (SMS) and/or WhatsApp messages from Markets.Futbol Alerts / markets.futbol at the number you provide, including messages sent using an automatic telephone dialing system or pre-recorded/automated technology.

Consent is not a condition of any purchase or of joining the prelaunch list — you can ask us about markets.futbol or claim the $10 promotional credit by other means.
Message frequency: up to 6 messages per month; frequency may vary.
Message and data rates may apply. Charges depend on your mobile plan and carrier.
To opt out, reply STOP to any message at any time. You will receive a single confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and we will stop sending marketing messages to that number.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Supported carriers may change without notice.

We do not share, sell, or otherwise provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent information to any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your mobile opt-in and SMS/WhatsApp consent data are never shared with third parties for their own marketing. Phone numbers are disclosed only to the messaging service providers that deliver these messages on our behalf, under contract, and for no other purpose. No mobile information will be sold or rented.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not share your phone number or SMS/WhatsApp opt-in with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing. We disclose personal information only with:

Service providers / processors that operate on our behalf — e.g. SMS/WhatsApp messaging providers, email providers, hosting, and analytics — under contracts limiting their use of your data to providing services to us.
Advertising & measurement partners — limited campaign/attribution identifiers (such as ad-click IDs, via conversion pixels or APIs) may be shared with the ad platforms that referred you so we can measure and improve campaigns. This never includes your phone number, SMS/WhatsApp opt-in, or messaging consent data, which are never shared with advertising partners.
Legal & safety — where required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of our services.
Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

5. US state privacy rights (California / CCPA-CPRA & other states)

This section applies to residents of US states with comprehensive privacy laws, including California (CCPA/CPRA), Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, and others. We provide these rights to all such residents and will not discriminate or retaliate against you for exercising them (for example, by denying the $10 promotional credit, charging different prices, or providing a different level of service).

Categories of personal information we collect (from you and your device) in the last 12 months:

Identifiers — mobile phone number; online identifiers, ad-click/campaign IDs, and IP address.
Commercial / marketing information — your prelaunch-list signup, $10 credit eligibility, and consent/opt-out records.
Internet/network activity — device type, browser, pages viewed, and interactions, collected via cookies/analytics.
Geolocation data — coarse, IP-derived country/region (not precise GPS location).
Communications content — your SMS/WhatsApp replies (e.g. STOP/HELP) and any messages you send us.

We collect this information to operate and promote the prelaunch list, send the messages you consented to, measure advertising, secure our services, and comply with law. Categories disclosed for a business purpose: identifiers, commercial/marketing information, internet/network activity, and geolocation may be disclosed to the service providers, advertising/measurement partners, and legal/business recipients listed in Section 4. We do not knowingly collect or "sell"/"share" the personal information of consumers under 16. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that require a right-to-limit offer.

Your rights: to know/access, to delete, to correct, to data portability, to opt out of "sale"/"sharing" (targeted advertising), and to limit use of sensitive personal information. To exercise any of these:

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information / Opt out of targeted advertising: email privacy@markets.futbol with the subject "Do Not Sell or Share", or use the cookie/analytics controls in Section 6. We also honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals where required.
Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information: we do not use sensitive personal information beyond purposes permitted without a limit-the-use option; if this changes we will provide a "Limit the Use of My Sensitive Personal Information" choice.
All other requests: email privacy@markets.futbol. We will verify your request and may need to confirm the phone number on file. You may use an authorized agent.

If we decline a request, you may appeal by replying to our response; we will inform you of the outcome and, where applicable, how to contact your state Attorney General. California "Shine the Light": we do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing.

6. Cookies & analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies for essential functionality (e.g. remembering your country dialing code) and to understand how our pages perform. Analytics and advertising cookies are optional. You can control or reject cookies through your browser settings and through any cookie-preferences control we provide; some features may not function without essential cookies. Where required, we honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) and similar opt-out preference signals. You can also opt out of interest-based advertising via industry tools such as the DAA (optout.aboutads.info) and NAI (optout.networkadvertising.org).

7. Data retention

We keep prelaunch-list data only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy:

Phone number & consent records: kept for the duration of the prelaunch program and your subscription, and for up to 24 months thereafter to operate the launch and the $10 credit, unless you ask us to delete sooner.
Opt-out / STOP records: retained on a suppression list as long as needed to honor your opt-out and meet legal/recordkeeping obligations (TCPA records are generally kept for at least 4 years).
Analytics & ad-attribution data: retained for up to 14 months, then deleted or aggregated.

If you opt out or ask us to delete your data, we remove it from active marketing use and retain only what is needed for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or recordkeeping purposes.

8. Your rights & choices (general)

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, to withdraw consent at any time (without affecting prior processing), and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights — or to opt out of messages — reply STOP to any message or contact us at privacy@markets.futbol. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. US-state-specific rights are in Section 5; EEA/UK rights are in Section 9.

9. EEA & UK residents (GDPR / UK GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the following applies and the controller is identified in "Who we are" above.

Lawful bases. We process your personal data on these bases:

Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) — to send you SMS/WhatsApp marketing messages and to set non-essential analytics/advertising cookies. You may withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP or contacting us.
Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) — to measure and improve our campaigns, secure our services, and prevent fraud and abuse, balanced against your rights.
Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)) — to keep consent/opt-out and other records the law requires.

Your rights. You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection (including to direct marketing and to processing based on legitimate interests), and the right to withdraw consent. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in the EEA, your local Data Protection Authority; in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). We would, however, appreciate the chance to address your concerns first at privacy@markets.futbol.

International transfers. See Section 10.

10. International data transfers

We may process and store information in countries other than where you live, including the United States, which may not provide the same level of data protection as your home country. Where we transfer personal data out of the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we rely on appropriate safeguards — primarily the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), the UK International Data Transfer Addendum (IDTA), and/or transfers to recipients in countries with an adequacy decision. You may request a copy of the relevant safeguards by contacting us at privacy@markets.futbol.

11. Children & age requirement

The prelaunch list and our services are intended for adults only — 18 years of age or older (or 21+ where required by the rules of a region or ad platform). We do not direct our services to, or knowingly collect personal information from, anyone under 18, and in no case from a child under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA/UK). If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us at privacy@markets.futbol and we will delete it.

12. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Effective date / Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, by additional notice (for example, by message or on our site) before the change takes effect.
